I have a list of things to do, places to visit before I die. Hang gliding in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is on this list. Not just hang gliding, it had to be in Rio de Janeiro. I was watching a program, some years ago, on PBS, National Geographic, or Discovery, I don't really remember which one. On the show they had a man hang gliding IN Rio. I thought to myself, Wow! That is amazing! It was so beautiful, that must be one of the "coolest" things to do.
During a visit to Brazil, I was able to scratch this one off my list.

Isn't life better with a list!!
I love to make lists. Here are a few items from my list.
1. Visit Italy and find a hot local to show me around.
A. while there take a cooking class.
2. Visit Paris (while not close to the top seems like the next to be crossed off)
A. picnic from an open market on the lawn of the Eiffel Tower
3. Jazz in New Orleans (better wait for better weather though)
4. Road trip across the USA stoping at the silliest places.
5. Whistler Canada beautiful mountain ranges
That second picture is really GAY.
Was that on your list?
Alison,
Singing in Austria sounds like fun. What about those old Riiiiiiiiiiiiicola commercials? That seems like a lot of fun too.

Mari,
Nice list, yes I forgot to add Italy, Venice, Vatican City, etc. I would probably have a problem with my wife if we had a hot local show us around, unless that hot local was actually male, but then I would be the one elbowing her in the ribs as she loses herself in his abnoxiously gorgeous locks of black hair. Ha, ha!

Dan,
You mean the second video? Press play, might not seem so gay, it was actually pretty cool, especially the landing. We were spiraling down at a pretty fast speed.
Being gay is not on my list. What's on your list?

Everything on my list has been done, I can die now.
Dan,
You either have a very short list, or you really kick ass! I am thinking it's the latter.
Oh, one more thing I would like to do is go to a SuperBowl game, maybe when I'm 50.

I agree with a lot of your destinations. The Egyptian pyramids sound awesome. I took the wife on our honeymoon to Paris France that was pretty overwhelming with all the history and culture. London England is on my list as well as Dalmatia (coast of Yugoslavia adjacent to the Adriatic sea/Italy). Spain and Argentina as well as the pyramids in Mexico round out my list. As far as Asia I think I would prefer Japan since Japan is more similar to us. China is still communist, I would hate to be arrested for some ficticious suspicious activity.

Luai,
While Yaya is a great cook, and I'm sure could serve an awesome homecooked meal, I've heard her sister's cooking leaves you breathless it's sooo good!!!
who was that anonymous posting from? Have I cooked for them before?
Thanks for the praise! If I do say so myself I would like to agree with the anonymous poster.
Wow that made my day!! ;)

Although I haven't traveled as much as my DH, I can say that I have been to some places that would have been on my list.
I have a couple items that I can think of now, I'm sure there are more. I'll have to come back as I remember...
1.Would love to go on a Caribbean Cruise (soon) ;)
2.Greece
3.Roadtrip across US
4.Grand Canyon (ride on a mule like in the Brady Bunch)
5.Italy (sit in a plaza people watching, take a ride on a gondola while listening to the only ugly Italian guy singing)
Luai: I'll send you a lunch with DH everyday. Oh, wait a minute, you don't work there anymore. Oh well...
I just added eating some of Yaya's cooking (other then funky deserts) you talk a lot about her cooking but I sure haven't had any.
